Genzyme hits Anika with patent suit

Genzyme (NASDAQ: GENZ) is hauling Anika Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ANIK) to court in Massachusetts over the latter's proposed osteoarthritis treatment Monovisc, which could be approved by the FDA in the second half of the year.
